I'm pretty sure I don't have anyone on my flist who can do this, but I'm drafting a story for eid_ka_chand / au_bingo set in Afghanistan in the 1960s. Yes, I am a masochist. Anyone around who might be able to help? I did find these amazing photos.

Thank you for the photos! I love the teapot repair one - I often regret how many skills & crafts died because if something breaks we just get a new cheaply made one.

Depending on fandom, I'm happy to beta, with the caveat that everything I know about Afghanistan and Islam, I know second-hand. (I also have enough free time between now and Eid to probably do a 24-hour turn around, if necessary.)
