And then he kills his crush and doesn't even realize! DAMMIT, SHOW. On one level, it's a dodge to get him out of the Batman dilemma, but on the other, WAY TO CRUSH MY HEART.

Oh, poor honey. All those flowers and no one to give them to.

Also, I love the way Tiger's boosted powers are just a tiny, dark thread in the background, waiting to create huge problems down the road. One episode, no problems. Next episode, oh wait.

So when are we getting Rock Bison's episode? I think he's the only one who hasn't had his own spotlight now, right?

And here's the cab driver. HOW DO YOU KNOW SO MUCH, CAB DRIVER? (EDIT: Lynndyre reminds me he was Kotetsu's old boss. SORRY GUY, I'M BAD WITH FACES.)

Oh, Lunatic's back next episode! Guess we won't be doing more with the robots after all. At least not for the short term.

The cab driver is Kotetsu's former boss, from episode 1 before he got bought out.

I loved this episode - I felt like the ending leant a sense of menace to Keith's innocence, without detracting from it. And I really like Keith.

I keep having OMG YOU ARE A SHITTY PARTNER moments at Barnaby, though, during the fight scene (oh, wait, Kotetsu's being smashed into a wall over and over, I think I'll stand here and discuss my dead parents some more) and the end (when Kotetsu is stressed and worrying about his powers, and still considerate enough to ask if Bunny's upset and let him talk, while Bunny is again oblivious to anything but his own angst).

Continued love for Nathan being 'one of the girls' and awesome. Also, so mean, sponsors, for not letting us have Tiger in a skimpy bathing suit.

OH THAT'S RIGHT.

I like that Keith is, er, maybe not the brightest, but he's still valuable and awesome and worth caring about.

I KNOW, BARNABY, WTF WAS THAT. I do feel, in his defense, that he's kind of trying to figure out what to do with himself now his parents and PURPOSE are gone, and he gets distracted and isn't really used to not being self-absorbed. (And I guess we should be glad he thinks Kotetsu can handle stuff?)

YES. Nathan is the best and the sponsors are the WORST (that shot with Barnaby's package cracked me the fuck up).

I can get a sense of where Barnaby's meant to be coming from, and yeah, his reactions towards the end of the episode made a lot more sense for his character than the happy-pod-person of non-revenge Barnaby in 14 and the beginning of 15. I think the uneven emotional dynamic is hitting bad buttons for me, though, I don't want to end up feeling like Kotetsu should be protected from Barnaby's all-take-and-no-give.

Really, really hoping that Barnaby learns how to be an actual partner.

Nathan and Pao Lin and Keith and.... this show is making me need more icon spaces.
Also, superheroes advertising cleaning products. How did the world exist without such genius. :D
