I know Kevin'll never write fanfiction (though he will tell you at LENGTH about how Star Wars Episode 1: Phantom Menace COULD have been written so that it didn't suck. warning: his re-write may contain brigands *snicker*) but he has been know to fan-art from time to time.
I'll poke him with a stick re:Asterix next time he claims to be uninspired. ;)
