lady_ganeshFirst, THANK YOU! You are clearly an awesome person for wanting to write for my fandoms, because they too are AWESOME.
Pretty much, you can just listen to what I put on the request. I love gen, I love het, I love slash, I love mixing all of those together; I love humor and capers and snappy dialogue and serious takes, too. Asterix
OH MY HEAVENS I LOVE ASTERIX. It was one of my first comics, one of my first addictions, I EVEN HAD AN ASTERIX MARY SUE yes, I was a SUPER DORK as a child. I drew fanart! Fanart! However, fortunately for you, Yuletide writer, it was all pretty terrible, so it's your time to shine. Seriously, I'd just love to have some Asterix to read, especially something that sees the canon through more adult eyes than the ones I first saw it with. I love the relationships between Asterix, Obelix and Getafix especially, but really, go where you want to go with this. Give the poor girls or Cacaphonix some love if you wantLord knows no one else will.

I read the Pilot edition when it came out in English and instantly fell in love. One of my favorite characters EVER is Keiko (did I mention that yet? OH I LOVE KEIKO). Tell me where canon should go next! Give me some backstory! A video game tournament! ALSO KEIKO.

This might have been the funniest show ever. Venture Brothers gave it some competition sometimes, but damn. So I'd love some funny. Having said that, if you want to go completely insane and do a totally serious backstory for the aliens or something? I WOULD LOVE THAT TOO.

Yuletide Writer, I deeply recommend you check this stupid show out on YouTube. I will ABSOLUTELY LOVE a story in any of the fandoms I picked, so you can just check it out guilt-free (because I for one would not want to learn a new fandom and try to write for it in this time period), and I think you might enjoy it if You Like the Sort Of Things I Like. If you do know the show...then you probably already know me, lolz. HI!

Date: 2009-11-14 06:03 am (UTC)I know Kevin'll never write fanfiction (though he will tell you at LENGTH about how Star Wars Episode 1: Phantom Menace COULD have been written so that it didn't suck. warning: his re-write may contain brigands *snicker*) but he has been know to fan-art from time to time.
I'll poke him with a stick re:Asterix next time he claims to be uninspired. ;)
