At least I'm not alone in my madness! (So many wigs, and outfits, and EYES.)

I haven't seen many smiling girl dolls, even! I think it's easy to get Uncanny Valley in smiling dolls if you're not careful. I have an old bisque doll that was my great-great aunt's and was like The Popular Girl Doll of that era...and her smile is kinda creepy, lol.

And elf ears, and vampire fangs, and wings, and so so pretty. I'm trying to make myself ignore the accessories, because as long as I don't find the perfect face/body, I don't have to buy anything! >.>

My daughter made me look up fairy and mermaid BJDs earlier. Some of them are just AMAZING.

YES that kept me from buying one for almost a year, which is pretty impressive for someone with my low impulse control...

In my experience most dolls and mannequins showing teeth can range from creepy to really creepy. *g*
